Come and Be Part of West Seattle’s History!
On June 3rd we will be celebrating the 100th Year Anniversary of the current building with a big event planned for this year’s All School Reunion.
This year our Alumni Association has joined with the Southwest Historical Society to commemorate the 100th Year milestone. In addition to our fun at this year’s All School Reunion we will have a special Group Hug photo taken outside of the Historical North entrance. The SW Historical Society’s director, Clay Eals, has already undertaken Group Hug photos (GHP) at the Totem Pole on 60th Ave SW just off of Alki outside of their Log Cabin museum. Another GHP was taken outside of the Admiral Theater. These photos are now part of West Seattle’s History.
Don’t miss out on it! Your friends and former classmates will be there waiting for you. Our WSHS Alumni Association, including our Annual All School Reunion, is the glue which holds us together in a community. Our Alumni Association is considered one of the largest if not THE largest in the nation. Btw, each year approximately 17,000 Chinooks are printed and mailed out to our Alumni. This costs money so this year we are having a Silent Auction to help cover some of the costs of keeping our Alumni Association going. To keep those Chinooks coming and our annual ASR, please consider helping out by either by participating in the silent auction or a donation to our, your, Alumni Association.

2017 Schedule of Events:
4:00-4:30pm Pick up programs, name tag and roam the halls
4:30-5:15pm Individual Class Reunions in assigned rooms. Sign in and pay dues in classrooms
4:30-5:15pm “92 Years of Westside Pride” video in the Theater
5:15-6:15pm Presentations in the Theater: Hall of Fame induction, Scholarships Awarded, Recognition of the 50th Reunion of the class of 1967
6:15-6:30pm Assemble outside of the Historic North Entry to be a part of our West Seattle History in a Group Hug Photo. Dow Constantine has recently been announced as Speaker
