Christine R. Charbonneau – Class of 1978 CEO, Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands
Chris has come a long way from the halls of WSHS, where she served as Kimtah editor. As CEO of Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands, Chris oversees 28 health centers in four states, a staff of more than 500 and manages budget of more than $50M. In this, the largest geographic affiliate in the PP federation, medical services and sexual education services are provided to more than 100,000 men, women, and teenagers each year. In her 34 years with Planned Parenthood, starting as a volunteer while she attended the University of Washington, Chris has been at the forefront of providing health care services to women and families, harnessing technology to bring care to patients in some of the most remote parts of the country.
